Supervise the daily activities of between 9 and 14 associates. Review, monitor, and report on productivity. Support the development and implementation of all conversions and new programs and projects that relate to Accounts Payable (AP)processing areas. Identify and implement process improvements when needed while maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy.

Operations Management

  • Review AP processes and evaluate, develop, recommend and implement required changes to provide a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Actively participate in the monthly close process.
  • Prepare and publish weekly/monthly status reports to senior management.
  • Maintain acceptable backlogs and work with the manager to improve processes and distribution of workload.
  • Responsible for reviewing, monitoring and reporting the productivity for this group on a weekly basis.

People Management

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and make decisions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate issues to management and follow-up on resolution.
  • Responsible for the vacation, sick and personal time tracking for all associates.
  • Responsible for evaluating performance for all members of the team.

    Relationship Management

  • Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams to whom information is provided or from whom information is gathered.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to consistently improve customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with other teams to ensure compliance with cross functional responsibilities.
  • Bachelors degree

    4 to 6 years of experience

    Service Delivery
    • Comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of A/P processing
    • Coordinate with other internal departments to deliver seamless service to customers
    • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills


    Supervisory Experience
    • Ability to coach, develop and motivate associates to optimize team effectiveness and enhance team interactions
    • Ability to identify improvement opportunities and actively engage in implementing improvements
    • Ability to impact team morale, sense of belonging and participation


    Interpersonal Expertise
    • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
    • Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks


    Technical Expertise
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
    • Experience with Oracle Financials preferred
