ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Meets and/or exceed quotas: Existing business growth, revenue, and gross margin.
* Develops existing business by understanding company's capabilities to fit requirements, positions and levels called, documenting call activity, and developing account profiles for top customers.
* Identifying, qualifying and prospecting for new business.
* Developing, documenting and implementing Marketing strategies for penetrating client base, account retention and increasing revenue.
* Builds and maintains trust with a customer by fulfilling commitments and handling issues in order to gain a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Develops partnerships with specialists from other lines of business in order to expand the product line.
* Leverages customer relationships in order to penetrate additional departments.
* Prepares and delivers presentations to existing customers and potential customers.
* Creates business plans for accounts and provides reporting as required.
* Manages the sales process by understanding customer strategies and decision-making process, forecasting new business, managing the sales funnel, and following through in order to gain more business and maintain customer relationships.
* Manages account profitability by tracking and monitoring expenses, gross profit and net operating profit margins for each account in order to develop plans and discuss the results with the customer.
* Maintains and uses up-to-date knowledge of company lines of business, company services, sales philosophy and policy, company processes, and industry conditions to provide innovative support and technical assistance to national account customers and company sales staff.
* Maintain knowledge of client contract and keep current.
* Prepares and submits reports on sales and marketing activities using Salesforce.com
* Attending company sales meetings and industry trade shows as required.
* Remaining current on industry vendors and their products and services.
* Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (MUST HAVE):

* Must be bilingual (French/English)
* 5 years Sales/Marketing or related experience
* Superior negotiation skills
* Superior presentation skills
* High energy and creative initiative
* Intermediate computer skills (PowerPoint/Excel/Word /Windows/Office environment)
* Ability to prioritize work under tight deadlines and ability to multi-task
* Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lead a team to service client requirements
* Detail orientation
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Car in good working order

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
* Experience in the Promotional Merchandise or Incentive Industries
* Understanding of decorating processes (embroidery, screen printing, etc.)


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* College/University or related courses of study preferred.
