Responsibilities	We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Delivery Driver within the Kitchener-Waterloo area. You will deliver office supplies to our business customers on a daily basis while meeting internal schedules and quality standards. You will also provide customer service by assisting with problem resolution and accepting product returns as required. Work is performed under the direction of department supervisor or manager. In this role you will be primarily be responsible for organizing and loading product for delivery at the Staples distribution facility and then delivering and unloading at each customer facility. As a representative of Staples, this role will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving customer problems as appropriate. The role will also require the collection, documentation and organization of paperwork.
Qualifications	The ideal candidate will possess a valid class G drivers license plus a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a delivery truck driver. Prior experience driving lightweight trucks and the use of hand truck/dolly type equipment is preferred. On-the-job training for pallet jack and OSHA training for stand-up lift will be provided. A strong proficiency and ability to both speak and write in the English language is required, in addition to the ability to frequently lift, move, and/or carry up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
